"WHATEVER YOU ARE, BE A GOOD ONE." ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Here at Ayres Rope Horses, we feel that, "there is nothing you can't do, on a good, broke horse!" We encourage buyers to always stay within your budget, but always take the time and shop the market. Try and try again. Do your homework and be prepared. This will not only help you the buyer, but it will help the seller too. Be upfront, honest and courteous when trying/buying. Generate a list of questions, along with goals. Ultimately, at Ayres Rope Horses we want a match to be as close to perfect as possible. We have lots of time and personal attention invested in our horses. A "fit" is a must. Keep in mind that not only must a buyer like a horse, but a horse must also like a buyer. We focus on the long term, not the short term. We want a satisfied, returning customer. Word of mouth is the best, or worst form of advertisement.

It is our goal that customers can come here and find what they could not find anywhere else. At our facility, we focus on quality, not quantity. Our horses are athletes and are treated as so. We put our time into finding horses with the whole package - Sound mind, sound body, sound pedigree. Each horse has our brand, dental records and x-rays, along with worming and vaccination schedules. We love our herd. Please feel free to call, or come by anytime. We love to "talk horses." Good luck and thank you for stopping by!

It is a pleasure to introduce you to our "Pretty Kitty" mare. Currently this mare is being shown at the AQHA shows in the heeling. Kitty picked up 7 points at her first show in Arizona at the Sun Circuit. This girl is not all beauty and no brains. She has the ability to back up her initial good looks. Yes they are real (her mane and tail of course)! This 11 year old girl is as solid of a heel/breakaway horse that you can make. This mare is a really nice ranch versatility, or Rancho Vistadores type horse too. She will tape at 15'0 and is 1100 pounds. Kitty is broke, broke, broke. She has no vices and is a serious mare for a serious competitor. You wouldn't know she was a mare if we didn't tell you. She is right there with the geldings and could care less about them. Outstanding in all areas, we adore her! She is a sweetheart and is as kind as you can find one. Kitty vets clean with a cd of x-rays. She had her teeth done in July and is current on her vaccinations and worming. She is double registered AQHA and PHBOA (palomino association). If you want that unique one that you will love to own forever, take a peek. She is a head turner not only with her looks, but with her athleticism. Serious inquiries only. Please call for pricing and further details regarding this mare, 559-740-9020 - Thank you!

Straight from the Roeser ranch in Idaho, this 4 year old is bred to do anything. Amigo is one that will catch your eye and hold your heart. This chocolate bay gelding is so easy to operate. He is broke the right way. Supple and solid, this soggy bay can move his feet! Has a real natural low head set and smooth lope. This gelding can drag it and get around as well. Absolutely no buck, lay him off and get on and he stays the same. Keen head, kind eye, low hocks, really a nice prospect. We are spending lots of time roping in the round pen on him. He will be brought along slow as we do all of our young ones. Hot heels, outside riding, pen roping, when he is finished, he will be finished. This gelding is on track for the rope horse futurities and Jr. AQHA Division Shows. Really a natural heel horse that loves his job. Amigo has x-rays, his teeth were just done and he is current on his vaccinations and worming. He is at 14'2 and weighs 1050 pounds. Super cool horse that we feel good about owning and good about selling.

Gorgeous buttermilk buckskin with the roan hair points and black feet!
This 4 year old is a nice unit. Already at 14'3 and 1050 pounds, he has plenty of time to continue growing. Packs his head, flex's all directions and has a nice stop and turn around. He is going to be fun to show. We don't like to start hauling them until their 5 year old year. That gives us a full year to just ride him outside and take it easy. He will be one worth the time and patience. He is in the Incentive Fund and his full sister is being shown at the AQHA World Show this November. If you know your breeding, you will know that the Doc Tom Tucker, King Fritz and Smart Little Lena horses are consistent winning foundation horses. This gelding is quiet, quiet, gentle, gentle. Nothing rattles him. First one to meet you at the gate. He will be one that might just make the kids jr./high school rodeo horse string. We know those are hard to come by! Sound, good looking, big hipped with nice shape and size, Wiley is weally a winner (lol)! Seriously, a great minded gelding, with the tools and mind to finish out with some of the best.

Here is another upcoming superstar. This 5 year old is a gem. Hardy has the size and mind of a finished, older gelding. Hardy is at 15'1, 1100 pounds. This gelding has lots of bone and muscle. Best part about him is his mind. What a laid back personality he has. Not to be fooled though, this horse has the tools necessary to finish the job. He can step up and work, then immediately throttle down to kid speed. Hardy has lots of outside miles. He came off of a working ranch in Idaho that raised him. We are heading and heeling on him. Bringing him along slow and sure as we do all of our young ones. He has the temperment and athleticism to go as far as one wants to take him. A real "old soul." He moves light and smooth. A real graceful working gelding. We can cruise around on him in a halter most of the time. We are really excited to have him in our program. Everything about him is quiet and willing. We feel that Hardy is an outstanding prospect that will be one to watch in the future. He has clean x-rays all the way around. He is current on his dental, worming and vaccinations. We have found that geldings like Hardy are a rare breed to find and we are tickled to finish him.

Lee is a gorgeous sorrel gelding. 9 years old, 15'1 hands and 1200 pounds. We x-rayed him and this gelding is sound as a dollar. This size 1 shoe wearing gelding is an athlete. Big bone, medium muscle, he is an eye-catcher. Really a nice switch - ender. We think he shines as a head horse, but if you need to grab feet once in a while he will work there too. Solid in the box. He gives 100% every trip. This horse is quiet and cool. Lots of outside ranch miles, and broke in the bridle. Flex him, bend him, stop him, you will enjoy him! Lee has a nice way of getting a hold of cattle and has really nice run and rate. He is going to work for a #5 and up. He is one of those geldings that deserves a home that respects and appreciates him. He's special. If you like 'em broke, good looking and ready to win on, he is worth a try. Teeth were done January 2010 and he is current on vaccinations and worming.

Oscar is as solid as his name. Big boned, soggy shaped, finished head horse. This 9 year old gelding is 15'1 and 1250 pounds. Ranch horse background, this horse is quiet and gentle to ride around. Really a user friendly gelding that will work for any mid to higher number roper. Knows his job and does it well. This pretty chestnut with the deep girth and large hip is a pleasure to be around. A really solid scoring gelding that has more than enough speed and ability to place in a variety of ropings. This gelding is big, but athletic. He can move his feet and is effecient and snappy with his job. Darn sure will get in the ground and handle one. Oscar comes with a clean set of x-rays on CD. Teeth were done February 2010. He is current on vaccinations and worming. Oscar is a sweetheart of a guy and his heart is as big as his body.

Good looking, real shapey, Incentive Fund gelding. If you wonder what kind of superstar this gelding will be, look up his daddy Smart Chic Olena! This is a really nice 5 year old. He has a clean set of full x-rays all the way around and is one that we look forward to spending time on. Right now we are heeling and breakawaying on him and spending some time outside. He will tape at 14'3 and is 1100 pounds. Teeth were done 3/09. Cord thinks that this gelding is one of the fastest on the place. Combine speed with cow and you have a recipe for a world beater. As with all of our colts, this guy is being brought along slowly. We don't push these young ones. He is broke. Really nice bone, with medium muscle, G is an athlete. He is another one that we are looking forward to hauling this Spring and seasoning.
